Having graduated from Penn State University in 1994 with a double-major in Creative Writing and English and a Minor in Advertising, Chris never dreamed that his career would revolve around the video game industry. While working in media research in Boulder, CO in 1997, Chris answered a newspaper add for an Associate Producer for a company called Devil’s Thumb Entertainment, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Now, almost twelve years later, Chris has been a Producer, Marketing and PR Liaison, Lead Designer, Lead Writer, and Cinematic Director for independent studios and publishers alike. With numerous titles to his credit that span all types of genres on all types of platforms such as Nightcaster (Action/Adventure - Xbox, PS2, GameCube), Sea Trader (Action/Adventure – GBA) Goblin Commander (RTS - Xbox, PS2, GameCube), and Auto Assault (PC - MMORPG), Chris’ most recent experience had him working with the many studios at THQ, Inc. as well as the likes of Pixar and Walt Disney doing design work for the cross-platform video game products that accompany such blockbuster award-winning film releases as Ratatouille and intellectual properties such as De Blob. He has also written and edited lectures for the Art Institute of America on writing and game design in video games and been a guest speaker for numerous classes at numerous colleges around the country.
Currently, Chris resides in Charlestown, MA with his wife and two mischievous cats and is busy running his own game design and media consulting business. When he finds time, Chris is also in the midst of writing a cyber-punk novel and working on a graphic novel with friends.
