Alex Rodberg

Director of Brand Marketing
Turbine, Inc.


Alex Rodberg is a veteran of the computer games industry, having been managing game brands and overseeing retail launches for 12 years. Alex is currently Director of Brand Marketing at Turbine, where he is managing Turbine's Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons - branded products. His prior experience included managing brands such as Tribes, Homeworld, and Leisure Suit Larry for Vivendi Universal Games in the Sierra division. That also included a stint at Impressions Games working on the City Building Series (Caesar, Pharaoh, Zeus) - one of the most successful competitors to Sim City brand. Before that, Alex worked at former California publisher Interplay, on titles such as Descent: FreeSpace, Redneck Rampage, Earth 2140 and Die By The Sword. He got his start in the industry at game developer NovaLogic, where we worked on military simulations such as Comanche and F-22 Lightning II. He attended U Mass Amherst, and graduated from Emerson College in Boston with honors.
