As Managing Partner of The Game Agency Joseph provides the strategic vision for the agency and oversees content acquisition and licensing efforts. With a focus on bringing new partners and content into the industry, Joseph develops partnerships, licensing representation and distribution agreements. Before starting TGA, Joseph managed the licensing department and global intellectual property rights for Atari Inc., a global leader in the development and distribution of video game software. He was responsible for generating $10M+ in revenue from existing licensees, partnerships and new business opportunities including mobile and digital distribution, consumer products, custom products and video game accessories. Skills include business development, business affairs, strategic partnerships, contract negotiations (extensions, renewals, terminations etc.), forecasting, deal analysis and rights management. Previous experience includes managing the copyright department at EMI music, which released 800+ music and DVD products per year. Responsible for negotiating license terms and securing agreements with 3rd party content owners for all EMI Special Markets and EMI catalog releases. After working at EMI Music Joseph managed copyright and licensing functions for Disney Music Publishing. Joseph has also executive produced several CD / DVD entertainment and consumer products.
